DAY 2: Leading Her Well

Heavenly Father, I pray that I will have a heart that desires to lead my family and put you first. God, I thank you for entrusting my wife to me, this is a high and holy calling, one I never want to overlook. As I grow in leading her, I pray that she will see my desire to be head of the home. I pray for my heart to be obedient, accountable, and willing to surrender my plans as I walk firmly where you call me and my family. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

At dinner tonight pray something specific over your wife that The Lord lays on your heart.
